Corner Rooms (Shaker, Eames, Eileen Grey) are larger and flooded with light — worth the upgrade

Why It Matters

Sir Terence Conran personally oversaw the interiors, and each of the 17 rooms is a tribute to a specific design movement or master — from a Mies van der Rohe room with Barcelona chairs to a Josef Hoffmann room of geometric patterns. The Sir David Tang Suite was designed by Tang himself. The rooftop bar draws Shoreditch locals and hotel guests alike year-round. Featured in Condé Nast Traveler's 21 Best Shoreditch Restaurants.

Boundary Shoreditch is a 17-room boutique hotel set inside a converted Victorian printing factory and warehouse on Redchurch Street in Shoreditch. Created by the late Sir Terence Conran, every room is individually designed around an iconic designer or design movement — from Bauhaus and Le Corbusier to Young British Designers and Eileen Gray. The building was extended upward with two stories of glass, steel, and copper, creating a rooftop bar and glass Orangery that's become a destination in its own right.

Duplex Suites

Four duplex loft suites, each with a mezzanine bedroom accessed by a staircase and a separate living area below. Double-height glass windows frame views of the Shoreditch skyline. The four suites each have their own design concept: Modern Italian Suite, The Benchmark Suite, Beach Suite (inspired by Vicki Conran), and the Conran Suite (by Sir Terence Conran himself). Bathrooms are more elaborate here — the Benchmark Suite has black-and-white geometric checkered floors and walls. All have narrow wraparound balconies.
