Why It Matters
One of the first hotels in Mallorca to go all-in on the adults-only boho design-hotel concept. Part of Design Hotels. Home to NENI restaurant — a genuine outpost of Haya Molcho's acclaimed Israeli/Middle Eastern group with locations across Europe. The Donkey Bar cocktail program was developed by Joerg Meyer, the Hamburg bartender who invented the Gin Basil Smash. Also runs the first-ever Santaverde hotel spa.
A 1970s Bauhaus-inspired hotel on the hillside above Port de Sóller bay, completely reimagined into an adults-only boutique property with a California 60s counterculture soul. The design is what they call 'Gypset style' — part hippie commune, part chic retreat — with the DREIMETA studio responsible for the eclectic interiors packed with craft pieces, art and a vinyl library. Every terrace looks out over both the Mediterranean and the UNESCO World Heritage Tramuntana mountains, which is a rare double act.
