Owner Manuel, a former Parisian engineer, built the place in 2016 using passive bioclimatic wood-frame construction (the Pop-up House concept), 30 solar panels, heat pumps, and phyto-purification for wastewater. The result is genuinely luxurious — Sofitel beds, Swarovski details, private jacuzzis — while generating 45% of its own electricity. Adults-only. Open April through October.
