Why It Matters

The owner's antique clock collection is genuinely extraordinary — period clocks from multiple epochs displayed across the property. And sitting at 1,100m altitude with a free ski bus stopping at the door and 55 km of slopes accessible nearby, the mountain access is hard to beat.
A family property on a site traceable to the early 1600s, the Wagner family has been welcoming guests here for seven generations. The name 'Bergblick' only arrived in the 1950s; 5-star status came in 2020 after a major overhaul that added the indoor/outdoor panorama pool. Fifty rooms dressed in natural wood and handmade furniture, a 1,500 sqm spa, a Gault Millau 2-toque fine dining room, and the host's remarkable collection of antique clocks make this one of the standout addresses in the Tannheimer Tal.
