The Beach Motel SPO is Germany's first lifestyle motel on the North Sea coast — opened in 2013, it's spread across three buildings styled after American East Coast beach houses, all sitting directly on the access road to St. Peter-Ording's 12-km-wide beach. 103 individually furnished rooms and suites, a proper Ocean Spa with 8 treatment rooms and three saunas, two restaurants, two bars, a private cinema, and bike hire. It's relaxed and deliberate about it.

Family & Friends
At 32 sqm and sleeping up to five people, this is the go-to for families or groups. Features a large free-floating double bed, a bunk bed in a separate bedroom, and a sofa bed. The toilet is separate from the bathroom — a practical detail that actually matters when five people are trying to get to the beach. Most units have a balcony on the first floor of the Cape Cod building (no lift), with two options in the Hamptons building (lift available).

A brand-partnership themed room in collaboration with Lemonaid drinks. Described as 'Drinking helps... and so does living!'
Loft
A two-level loft layout with height to the ceiling — the official description says 'Loft with space to the top'. Good for those who want a bit more architectural character in a standard room category.
MINI Suite
The world's first MINI-branded hotel suite at 38 sqm over two levels. The living area features a sofa (doubling as an extra bed), while the sleeping loft upstairs has a large comfortable bed. A balcony with sea views caps it off. Design elements include Carl Hansen Nordic furniture and Normann Copenhagen pendant lights — it's genuinely tasteful rather than gimmicky. Daily minibar refill of soft drinks and alcoholic welcome drinks on arrival included in the room price. MINI guests also receive a VIP treatment and Oceanwell cosmetics welcome package.
