Baglioni Resort Sardinia opened in June 2021 on the north-east coast of Sardinia, sitting inside the Tavolara Marine Protected Area with the white-sand Lu Impostu beach just a 350-metre walk away. The 78 rooms, suites, and the six-bedroom Villa le Pernici are spread across four private hectares of Mediterranean macchia, with Isola Tavolara rising dramatically from the sea in front. It earns its place on the map with a Michelin-starred restaurant — only one of a handful in all of Sardinia — led by chef Claudio Sadler, and a wild, relatively undeveloped stretch of coast that few resorts of this calibre can rival.
