Why It Matters

The 2015 revival of a genuinely historic Paris address, executed by one of France's most respected hospitality designers. The result is a hotel that earns its Michelin/Tablet Hotels listing not through opulence but through considered design, excellent location, and a dining program that stands on its own.

A former 19th-century grand hotel that went quiet for decades and reopened in 2015 as something altogether sharper. Interior designer Dorothée Meilichzon gave it Art Deco bones with a very contemporary sensibility — rich blues and greens, marble desk tops, mosaic tile floors, and custom furniture sitting somewhere between Parisian heritage and modern cool. It sits right at the edge of the Montorgueil pedestrian zone, one of the more genuinely local neighborhoods in the city center, and its restaurant and bar pull in enough real Parisians to feel like a neighborhood spot rather than a hotel amenity.

Where You'll Stay

5 room types available

Classic Room
Standard

Classic Room

The smallest room in the house at 17 sqm — cozy and bright, not cramped if you pack light. Faces the interior courtyard and its glass roof, which floods the room with diffused natural light. Queen bed with premium bedding, marble bathroom with walk-in shower, minibar, in-room safe, LED TV, soundproofed windows, air conditioning. These are the entry rooms; expect a Parisian-sized space, not a suburban hotel footprint.

Good choice if you're working from the room — the executive wood desk is properly usable, and the room feels genuinely spacious rather than just slightly less tight.
