Designers Patrick Gilles and Dorothée Boissier leaned into the 250-year-old crystal heritage hard: 2,000 LED-embedded Harcourt glasses form a 24-hour light installation in the foyer, and the Grand Salon's 64-arm Baccarat chandelier lords over silk-pleated walls and champagne velvet banquettes. All 114 rooms come standard with Baccarat crystal stemware in the minibar, Maison Francis Kurkdjian toiletries, and linens by Somma 1867. It's theatrical, deliberately so, and the service — a dedicated personal Host with every reservation — largely justifies the price of admission.
