Why It Matters
The only hotel on Turtle Lake in central District 3, with architecture by Felice Iacobellis who custom-designed almost all furniture using traditional Vietnamese lacquering techniques. Member of Design Hotels and Marriott Bonvoy. The name 'Bạch' means 'white' in Vietnamese, which defines the entire aesthetic.
Bach Suites Saigon sits right on the edge of Turtle Lake in District 3 — the only hotel with that address — designed by Italian architect Felice Iacobellis as a contemporary rereading of Saigon's French colonial streetscape. The building is all white marble and crisp black steel from the outside; inside, herringbone parquet, antique brass, and custom-lacquered furniture give it the feel of a well-edited Parisian apartment transplanted to the tropics. Small on purpose at 36 rooms across five categories, you won't be sharing the lobby with tour buses.
