Ke Ga Bay
Minimalist contemporary Vietnamese beach resort. Sand-and-granite colour palette, rattan and seagrass textures, open pavilions that blur indoors and out. Calm, unhurried, zero resort kitsch.
The Ke Ga Bay Villa (Villa 61–63 on the resort map) is a 2-storey structure with an 8x4m private pool and ocean glimpses from the master bedroom — worth the upgrade for a special occasion.
Why It Matters
The third property from Aman founder Adrian Zecha's Azerai brand and the brand's first beach resort. It earns a 1 Michelin Key and is a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World. The setting — between a historic lighthouse island and sweeping sand dunes on a largely undiscovered stretch of coast — is genuinely special.
Azerai Ke Ga Bay is Adrian Zecha's (the Aman founder's) beach resort on Vietnam's southeastern coast — 46 rooms and villas spread across 4.5 hectares of ginger and frangipani gardens, fronting a five-kilometre white sand beach. The look is classic Zecha: clean minimalism, natural stone and timber, zero clutter. To the east sits Hon Ba Island with its 1899 French colonial lighthouse; to the west, sand dunes. It's close enough to Ho Chi Minh City (about 2.5 hours) to work as a long weekend escape, but far enough that you genuinely feel cut off from everything.

How you'll actually spend your days.
Rides in the traditional Vietnamese round basket boat — a local cultural experience as much as an activity.
Catamaran available for sailing out on the East Sea — one of the more adventurous water activity options.
Kayaks available directly off the five-kilometre private beach. Calm conditions during dry season make this an easy activity for all ability levels.
Stand-up paddleboarding on the East Sea directly from the beach.
Beach volleyball court on the private beach. Complimentary for guests.
Informal beach sports — frisbee and football on the sand. Equipment available from the Activities Hub.
Complimentary bicycle hire for exploring the surrounding area, including the nearby fishing village.
Table tennis area on-site (shown on resort map).
Hands-on seafood cooking classes with the resort's culinary team. Guests learn to prepare fresh local seafood using Southern Vietnamese techniques.
Greg Norman-designed 36-hole golf complex, PGA NovaWorld Phan Thiet, located within the surrounding 1,000-hectare development. Ocean views throughout the course. The resort offers a dedicated Tee Off package.
A guided day out to the 1899 French colonial lighthouse on Hon Ba Island, plus a local fishing village and dragon fruit farm visit. One of the most highly rated experiences at the resort — guests consistently single out guide Hang from reception.
Guided excursion to Tà Cú Mountain — a 2-hour hike through jungle ending at a large reclining Buddha statue, or take the cable car. Can also include Cham Kingdom temples.
Daily yoga and meditation sessions held in the Ginger Garden and by the pools, including sunset yoga. Instructional classes praised by guests. Complimentary for resort guests.
