Catskills
Mid-century modern glamping meets Hudson Valley farmhouse. Low-key and design-forward. Feels like a well-curated outdoor hotel, not a campground with pretensions.
Hilton Honors Diamond members get a s'mores kit, firewood bundle, and a space-available upgrade at check-in
Why It Matters
Won the 2023 Gold Key Award for Specialty Design. Designed by Workshop/APD with inspiration drawn from Catskills agrarian architecture and the region's legendary music culture (think Woodstock). Also the first Hilton-affiliated glamping property in the Northeast.
AutoCamp Catskills puts you up in a custom 31-foot Airstream (or a pine cabin, or a canvas tent) on 37 forested acres just outside Saugerties, about two hours north of New York City. The Clubhouse — a post-and-beam agrarian barn designed by Workshop/APD — serves as the property's social anchor, with a bar, The Kitchen, a General Store stocked with local beer and wine, and a communal indoor fire pit. It's glamping done with real boutique-hotel DNA: Tempur-Pedic mattresses, Ursa Major bath products, and a daily amenity fee (~$37.80) that covers bikes, yoga, events, coffee, and Wi-Fi.
