Why It Matters

One of the first ASAI-brand properties in Bangkok, owned by Dusit International. The Biggy Bunk room — a 31 sqm quad room with two sets of bunk beds — is genuinely unusual for this hotel tier and popular with groups of friends. The hotel has a strong community focus, hosting local experiences like Muay Thai outings, photography walks, and Thai cooking classes.

ASAI Bangkok Sathorn sits on a quiet, tree-lined stretch of Soi Sathorn 12 — one of those low-key sois that feels more like a neighbourhood than a thoroughfare. The hotel opened in May 2023 with 106 rooms, a street-food-inspired Thai restaurant, and a lobby that triples as a bar, co-working space, and social hub. Rooms are compact but thoughtfully designed with clean Asian-inspired aesthetics — great beds, rain showers, and 43-inch smart TVs. No pool, which is the most common complaint, but Chong Nonsi BTS station is right on the doorstep, so the rest of Bangkok is entirely accessible.

Biggy Bunk

The hotel's signature room concept — 31 sqm with two sets of bunk beds sleeping four adults. A genuinely fun option for a group of friends or a family with older kids. The room has a proper work desk, 43-inch Smart LED TV, and all the same amenities as the standard rooms. Substantially bigger than anything else in the inventory and priced to make the per-person cost very competitive.

Cosy

The entry-level room and the most common at the hotel. Seventeen square metres sounds tight on paper, but the layout is efficient — king-size bed, small work desk, mini fridge, and a rain shower. Clean, modern Asian-inspired design with a 43-inch Smart LED TV and full-body mirror. City view included.

Cosy City

Identical footprint to the Cosy at 17 sqm, but positioned for the better city-facing outlook. Same sharp design and amenities — king bed, rain shower, 43-inch TV, work desk. A solid upgrade for views without a premium room category.
