Arizona Biltmore
Old Hollywood desert glamour meets contemporary desert chic. Art Deco geometry, earthy Sonoran palette, and a social scene that peaks on Sunday mornings around the pool bar. Family areas and adults-only zones are well separated post-renovation.

Why It Matters
One of America's most architecturally significant hotels, built with Frank Lloyd Wright-influenced 'Biltmore Block' construction — 34 geometric patterns cast from desert sand on-site in 1929, with the same method used for 6,000 replacement blocks during the 2021 restoration. The Tequila Sunrise cocktail was invented here in the 1930s. It lent its name to the entire surrounding Biltmore district of Phoenix.
Built in 1929 and inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright, the Arizona Biltmore is Phoenix's grande dame — a 39-acre landmark resort that has welcomed every U.S. president since Herbert Hoover, plus Frank Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe, and Elton John. Following a $150 million reinvention completed in 2021, it now pairs its original Hollywood glamour and iconic 'Biltmore Block' architecture with seven pools, a Forbes 4-Star spa, bold Latin dining, and an adults-only lounge. Look, it's a big, busy resort with over 700 rooms — but the bones of the place are genuinely extraordinary.
