Why It Matters
First hotel ever built on the Sunset Strip (opened 1963 by Gene Autry). The original 'Riot House' hosted The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, and Guns N' Roses during the heyday of the Strip's hard-rock era. Also claims the highest rooftop pool in Los Angeles.
