Why It Matters
Opened December 2025 as Bangkok's most design-forward new luxury hotel. The location is exceptional: directly connected to MRT Lumphini station and steps from Lumphini Park, with roughly 80% of rooms looking out over the park. The art program is genuinely ambitious, not just decorative — a guided or self-guided art walk takes guests through works by international and Thai artists throughout the building. Rooftop restaurant Piscari by a Michelin-pedigreed French chef is already pulling non-hotel guests.
Andaz One Bangkok opened in December 2025 as Hyatt's second Andaz property in Thailand, sitting inside One Bangkok — a sprawling mixed-use complex of towers, retail, galleries, and green space on Wireless Road. The historic road once transmitted Thailand's first radio telegraph signals, and that layered heritage feeds directly into the hotel's design identity. Bangkok-based PIA Interior Company built the 244-room hotel around a 'Vertical Neighborhood' concept: each floor channels a different facet of the surrounding Witthayu district, from mid-century arches to cast-iron window grille motifs. Most rooms face Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to Central Park, with floor-to-ceiling windows that make that green expanse feel almost part of the room.
