A family-run 4-star superior wellness hotel perched at 1,540m on a south-facing slope above Burgeis, with sweeping views of the Ortler Group and the full Vinschgau Valley. The Gerstl family — now in its second generation under Lukas, with parents Martin and Susanna still very much present — has invested year after year in expanding the property. A major 2023 build added a second heated outdoor infinity pool, a new garden area, and an underground road gallery that hides traffic from view. Adults and couples only, with no children under 6.

The entry-level room category, and still a solid choice. Panoramic views over the Vinschgau Valley from a private balcony, natural wood flooring, flat-screen TV, minibar, and coffee machine. Extra-long beds. Mountain views are the real draw here.
Piz Lun Suite with Additional Room
Sun-drenched accommodation with 360-degree panoramic views over the Ortler Alps. Comes with an extra bedroom, making it the most spacious option for solo travellers who want to spread out, or couples wanting a proper sitting room.
Pool Suite
The most exclusive option in the hotel. Around 60 sqm with its own private infinity pool and whirlpool on a large private terrace, plus a dedicated garden for full privacy. Extras like a 'Floating Aperitivo' (drinks served in your own pool) and a gourmet dinner on the terrace can be added. Pets are permitted here for €40/day.

A refined, calm suite finished in smoked oak with gentle natural tones. Restful and understated compared to the pine-heavy rooms. Balcony with panoramic views over the Ortler Alps.
Sky Suite
On the top floor of the hotel — the best views in the house. A yurt-inspired design with a staircase from the living room up to the bedroom. Private terrace with a whirlpool (usable 9am–10:30pm), sun loungers, and seating. The shower has an integrated steam bath and valley views built in. Frequently praised in guest reviews as an unexpected upgrade.
Wellness Suite
The standout feature here is a freestanding bathtub positioned directly against the extensively glazed façade — meaning you are in the tub looking straight at the mountains. Large shower, panoramic balcony with two sun loungers, double washbasin, bidet. Gets you closest to the outdoors while staying inside.
Zirben Garden Suite
Same pine wood ambiance as the Zirben Suite but with direct access to the large sun terrace rather than a standard balcony. Feels very connected to the garden and outdoor spaces. Ortler views from both living area and terrace.
Zirben Suite
Swiss stone pine (Zirben) construction throughout — a traditional Alpine wellness material known for its calming scent. Spacious living area, sleeping area, and a balcony facing the Ortler Alps. Luxury bathroom with bathtub, shower, double washbasin, and bidet.
