A 16th-century villa on a steep, narrow street in the medieval hilltop town of Asolo. Sisters Silvia and Elena De Checchi have run the place since 1996, when they restored it from a 25-year abandonment. The 23-room property sits right on Asolo's main square and looks out over the Prosecco hills, with antique hand-carved wood in every room and traditional patterned tile work in the bathrooms. Room 202 is dedicated to Eleonora Duse, who actually stayed here in the 1920s — the hotel still has her handwritten reservation letters.

Classic Double Rooms
Spacious, stylish rooms along the sides of the building looking out over greenery and the old town houses. Flexible configuration — king size or twin beds on request, and some can be converted into triple rooms.
Comfort Single Rooms
Two intimate rooms with slanted wooden ceilings and a double bed — romantic enough to double as small doubles. The slanted ceiling gives them a character the standard singles lack.
Family Rooms
Three spacious rooms ideal for families of four, in different configurations. Two run along the sides of the building; one is in the attic with roof windows through which you can see the Asolo Fortress.
Junior Suite 101
Spacious suite dedicated to poet Gabriele D'Annunzio. Views of the old town centre and the Villa Pasini gardens. Original antique wooden furniture that was carved by hand.
Junior Suite 102
Second junior suite option in the historic villa, with the same standard of antique furnishings and exclusive facilities as Suite 101.
Room 202 – Eleonora Duse
A historically significant room faithfully restored and furnished to reflect the period when the legendary actress Eleonora Duse stayed here in the 1920s. The hotel still holds her original handwritten reservation letters.
Single Rooms
Entry-level rooms with a double bed and bathroom featuring massage jet showers. Compact and modest by the hotel's standards, but views of Asolo's historic homes or the adjacent woods help. The Michelin Guide notes these are small — honest warning.
