A 29-room boutique hotel in the heart of Le Marais, designed entirely by Philippe Starck. The aesthetic is 1920s boudoir: candy-colored pastel walls, bevelled mirror bathrooms with marble basins, oak parquet floors, and artworks by Starck's daughter Ara. It is small, intimate, and very much a design object — not a full-service resort. No pool, no spa on-site, no full restaurant. But the location is hard to beat, and the Le Confidence cocktail bar alone is worth a visit.

The top suite and the top floor — 6th floor, 42 sqm, with panoramic views over the Parisian rooftops. Both a rain shower and a freestanding bath. This is the room to book if budget allows. The rooftop panorama is the hotel's single best feature.

Four rooms at 29 sqm, facing the indoor patio — the quietest aspect in the building. Colourful splashes of pastel pink and yellow, USB sockets built into the headboard. A bit more breathing room than the Club, and the patio view keeps things calm.

Marcelle Suite
On the 5th floor, 42 sqm with a courtyard view. One of the largest suites and described by Starck as 'mysterious and voluptuous.' Has both a rain shower and a freestanding bathtub. The courtyard aspect means more quiet than street-facing rooms.

Superior Room
The entry-level room and the most plentiful — 16 of the hotel's 29 rooms are Superiors. At 19 sqm they are compact by any standard, but Starck's design makes them feel intentional rather than cramped. Pastel palette, rain shower, parquet floors. Street or courtyard aspect depending on the unit. Connecting rooms available on request.
